All my friends know I'm a sequin fanatic. Before sequins become the most sought after accessory on the runway, I was already looking and searching for the perfect sequin adorned fashions. Well, being the sequins' number one fan, last night my dream included designs with hints of sequins throughout. My bedroom had much more sequins, but somehow in my dream I found ways to include sequins in the family room decor. It was only natural for me to wake up and immediately start searching for interior designs and decor that included the shine and sparkle of sequins. What do you think of this sequin-inspired design? FABulously divalicious!
And I found these sequins-adorned throw pillows. Perfect!

Design Candy - Momma's Office
My current country home has 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (2 full and a half bath). There is one bedroom downstairs for which we call the "Toy Room." All of the thousands of toys my kids own are stored in that room. You must walk trough my laundry room (which I'll miss so very much) to get to the Toy Room. Then there is the master bedroom and Miss MD's room as you walk up the stairs. Then you walk down the hall and there is the guest room/upstairs laundry room - all of my ironing, hanging and folding takes place there (whenever that happens... like once a quarter). Then you walk past the kids' bathroom and walk into a huge office area with built in desk and cabinets. I call it the kid area or the kid cave. In this area are the last two bedrooms (and these babies are pretty huge for kid bedrooms and both have vaulted ceilings). The first room is Syd's and the last room is my Justice's room. Even with 6 bedrooms, momma doesn't have an office. The master bedroom is large enough so I was able to corner off an area for which I call an "office." Well, the new place will have less rooms, so as you can imagine, we're downsizing. But... momma needs her office. I'll be working from home quite a bit and I need to have an office. We will no longer have the Toy Room, so with five bedrooms, I am looking to turn the guest room into somewhat of a dual purpose room. Momma's Office most days and the guest room when needed. How does one accomplish this goal? I haven't figure it out yet, but these inspiring photos have my wheels spinning. What do you think?

Dreamin - THE SUNROOM
My dream home would have a sunroom right off the kitchen and family room. I heart sunrooms and often wonder why builders don't incorporate this option in their homes. Once I hit the mega millions and become a real estate developer, I'll include the sunroom as an upgrade to all of my California living homes. Especially after seeing these beauties. What do you think?

Design Candy: Miss MD's Room
The three year old is the epitome of a diva. She's a mini-me... To the 10th power. She has so amazing style. She loves shoes, purses and all things pink. Or purple. She is her mother's child. Difference between Miss Mini Diva (Miss MD) and me is that she demands all things her way. And has no problem with speaking.... YELLING her demands.
So, with all her energy and style and the noise that comes along with her. I though a peaceful, clean, pretty and adorable room would be perfect for Miss MD. What do you think?

Design Candy: The Master Bath
My second favorite room in the house is my master bath. This is a room I plan to spend some much needed R&R time. A place I'll allow Calgone to take me away. A place I'll finish reading Emma. Naturally, the looks below are inspiring, to say the least. These bathrooms cause my heart to skip a beat. I'm now a believer of love at first sight. What do you think?

Design Candy: Tween Bedroom
My Syd is a tween and has outgrown her current Hannah Montana design. She is not sure of what she wants, but did mention she wanted something a teenage girl would have. I can't believe she's grown up so fast.
These are some inspiring photos I thought I'd share with her to get her motivated to design her bedroom. What do you think?
